Rimatomics adds nuclear power and energy weapons, and a custom research system guides you step by step through most of the features, with a few details being left for you to figure out. The nuclear power system scales from kilowatts to megawatts, with options for combinations of different types of cooling systems, turbines and reactor cores - plus upgrades. To make use of such massive amounts of power, an assortment of energy weapons has been added, microwave area denial systems, tesla coils, high energy lasers, railguns, anti mortar systems, threat detection, drop pod scramblers, many types of upgrade modules, and nuclear weapons.

Starting out
Starting out Go to the rimatomics tab in the normal research menu, you will see a single project, once this is complete you can build the special Rimatomics research bench, you can then access the special Rimatomics research screen via the main button next to standard research, or via the tab when clicked on a rimatomics research bench.

The research projects act as a walk through for everything!

@Dubwise This is because the grouping label on the storage pool is null.

Also, you're shipping your .git folder in your release artifacts. Probably not intentional.

bug with the storage pool. when placed in world you cant change bills to drop or anything only keeps what it is before.
removing the pool allows you to change settings again

As much as I love the option to just launch and drop nuclear weapons to raze entire cities/colonies, I've always felt like there should be some serious diplomatic consequences for such acts. Even if your target for just one nuke was a pirate base, such an act would surely alarm everyone else and any more within a period of time would be seen as an act of war.

I distinctly remember being able to drop a nuke via the ingame debug menu, is this not an option anymore or can I just not find it?

After 1.5+, nuclear warheads will cause the game to crash,not occur in historical versions.

The game crashes immediately when a nuclear bomb detonates.

Nuking a mech landing site (VFE Mechanoids) with a high yield bomb leads to a world site that cannot be visited (ruins). It would be cool to enter these destroyed maps or to clear them because the world map gets cluttered with these ruins after a while.
